Not suprising. What is suprising is that they announced before Chinglish.

It started out with a great numbers and really had dismal numbers lately. Sad.

What show do you think will go here next?

Saw this last Friday, while the first play was awful, the second play was saved because of Marlo Thomas....the third was very funny very typical Woody Allen. It was unfortunate they had to group this with the other two because it was good, not great but had many very laughable moments. Not sad to see it go.

Sounds like it's closing earlier than planned.

I think Peter and the Starcatchers will go there. Perfect theater for it. It's kind of a dark theater.

I reckon it'll be Peter and the Starcatcher as it's a Nederlander Theatre and Disney shows tend to be in Nederlander theatres aside from Mary Poppins and originally The Lion King.

Does this show have a rush? I hope I get to catch it before it closes - I saw Ari Graynor in Trust in 2010, I'd love to see her in something else. Thanks. :)

Just got mine :) Love Woody Allen, but how are the two other acts?

The first one by Ethan Coen is "somewhat funny" (quote needed) but by far the weakest. Elaine May's is 2nd best and Marlo Thomas is terrific. I enjoyed this because I personally know about 3 dozen women who act exactly how she does in this performance. They are very unique people.

Saw it during the second week of previews. Really wish they hadn't chosen the Ethan Coen piece. It, for me, just didn't fit in with the evening. The last two I really enjoyed. The "show" is not for everyone. The last two, especially the Allen piece, tapped an old style of comedy that a lot of people now don't find funny, in my opinion. You could kind of feel the jokes coming, which was just fine with me. It was kind of like a trip down comedy memory lane. I thought Marlo Thomas was just wonderful. JMO
