I've said it before and I'll say it again. Keyboard Cathy as narrator. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_d7tKsre8EQ
"I'm seeing the LuPone in Key West later this week. I'm hoping for great vocals and some sort of insane breakdown..." - BenjaminNicholas2

The masochist in me likes the idea of Elaine Stritch as the Narrator.

I love this show and am not sorry, but would approach a revival with some trepidation.
"This thread reads like a series of White House memos." — Mister Matt
I really liked the last revival and I've always wondered why it closed so quickly. The tour did really well.
"What can you expect from a bunch of seitan worshippers?" - Reginald Tresilian
Do they still do a shortened replay of the entire show at the end?
When I saw the tour during the 90s, the show was so short that they had to pad it out by basically doing a truncated version of the entire show once the full show was over. It seemed sort of awkward and I wasn't sure if they still did that or if they found some other solution to the problem of the show's brief running time. Just curious!

You're talking about the megamix? Yes, they still do that. And if you don't sing along they do it again, six times.

If this happens and Webber still brings in his Wizard of Oz that would give us Phantom, Evita, Jesus Christ Superstar, Joseph, and the Webber Wizard Rainbow Mix all playing on Broadway at the same time. I'm scared...

And those are the decent ones - I'd be more scared if we got other Webber shows.

Isn't CATS coming to New World Stages? I have a friend off-Broadway who told me that.
"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

Yes, the intermission was between "Go, Go, Go Joseph" and "Pharaoh Story."
Did you know that every day Mexican gays cross our borders and unplug our brain-dead ladies?
No, CATS was going to come to NEW WORLD but VOCA PEOPLE is transferring instead. Maybe they can do VOCA KITTIES.
