I heard that they were canceling it but new episodes would perform on YouTube.
"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

are posters getting dumber? I cannot believe this OP thinks that because the leads got asked to sign for another year that that means the show will be open..
I am flabbergasted by the ignorance..seriously..this..wow.
"I heard...?" I don't know about you, but I'd rather rely on something a bit more official than that. Still, as others have mentioned...it depends on improved box office for the show to continue. Oh well. from RC in Austin, Texas
"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)
1. It's unlikely that ALL of them have extended their contracts. 2. It's highly unlikely that they have all extended for another YEAR. 3. It's highly unlikely this will run another year.
This has nothing to do with love or hate of the show -- but of simple financial understanding.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
