If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.
Certainly not who I was expecting but I'm very excited!
"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe."

Love this casting- but I must need to pay better attention to these news pieces- I didn't know this was playing the Marquis Theatre- when did they announce that?
I would be happy to have you-know-who withdraw as Che still... I just can't see it. But- you never know!
I believe this is the first time they've officially announced The Marquis. It was long rumored to either be going into The Marquis or The Palace.

ATTENTION FANS: I will be played by James Barbour in the upcoming musical, "BroadwayWorld: The Musical."
Wow. I think this is BRILLIANT. I don't think I would have been able to guess this in a million years.
Now I'm even MORE excited!!!
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
Yes! I am aware Elena Roger is VERY petite, but I would prefer Michael Cerveris to be a larger build in general. I LOVED how large Phil Quast was next to Roger in London. Made it even more intersting that this incredible woman could have such power over Peron.
Perhaps I am alone in this, but to me Quast's height (6'5) next to Roger (5'1) in London was distracting and provided for a lot of awkward physical moments between the two of them. I think Cerveris will be a good match for Roger in both height and temperament. I look forward to seeing them.
Considering all the hysteria on BWW over the suggestion that a "too dark" actress play Evita, the height complaint is laughable.
I wouldn't call this "towering":
Juan Peron sure as hell wasn't 6'5" unless Eva was 6 feet tall. Either casting is based on real life, or it isn't. Make up your minds instead of picking and choosing based on personal biases.
