New WICKED Cast Replacements this month and next? |

good thing she is definitely playing elphaba on broadway after vosk!

Pure speculation but, the pieces do add up. Especially if you look at Ms. Corneau’s Instagram post. Very subtle nod, but it was not lost on Wicked fans :)

I'd say anytime between tomorrow and the day before the show, it's hard to tell with Bway announcements. I'm betting on sometime in April. But now that we have an idea who Elphaba is, I say we use up more and more space on this thread figuring out who the new Fiyero is! And who's gonna replace Mariand and Erin after the tour even though they just started, lol, just kidding.

I’m going to guess 3-4 weeks before JV departs and announcement will be made. That seems to be the window when a new actor is taking over a lead role.

That would be awesome. He's probably the best Fiyero I've seen (and just a really nice person, too).
Does anyone know when Alice Fearn and Sophie Evans are leaving Wicked in London? Who's replacing them?

I don't know when they're leaving but I do remember reading that they renewed their contracts fairly recently? Within the last few months? I know lengths of contracts vary, I'm aware of that. But I don't think we should expect a replacement announcement from the UK production any time soon.

Cast change is July 20th, most of the principal and ensemble actors should be leaving.

Zach Adkins, Cody Simpson and Colton Ryan have all received Fiyero callbacks this time around.
@MannPhann: yes, it was Derek Klena, not Zach Adkins, who already played Fiyero (in 2013, I think).
I'd believe that Zach and Cody (heh) were called back, but it's the Colton Ryan bit that gives me pause. Is he tall enough? Literally, Fiyero does have a height requirement of 5'11" or taller, I believe, and Colton doesn't read that tall.

Not true. Curt Hansen, Michael Seelbach, and I’m pretty sure Kristoffer Cusick was under 5’11”

It probably depends on the heights of whomever are playing Elphaba or Glinda. If the witches are on the short side, they can probably work around that height requirement.

Good thing he’s played him, then...
