I saw some long-runners -- WICKED, MARY P, and PHANTOM -- all of which were in pretty good shape, but I want to focus on the new productions I saw. I don't want to write reviews of each, so I will just rank the new shows in the order of how much I enjoyed them.

1 - Book of Mormon
2 - Normal Heart
3 - Sister Act
4 - How to Succeed
5 - Anything Goes
6 - War Horse
7 - Catch Me If You Can
8 - Death Takes a Holiday
9 - Sleep No More
10 - Mother With the Hat
11 - Priscilla
12 - Spiderman
13 - Baby It's You

What a great season! With the exceptions of #12 and #13 on my list, there were no stinkers in the bunch!

Awesome trip! I am glad to see that I am not the only one that maximizes as many shows as possible every time I visit.
Would love to here your thoughts, especially on Priscilla.

Shubert Alley Cat...you are CRAZY! I love it and would have done the same thing!!

Please could you put them in order of viewing (with times) - curious which days/evenings were 2 show days. Sometimes I have found that when I've done a double-header it has made an impact on liking or disliking the second show. I've found this especially in Las Vegas if I try to go to a second show at 10pm. Being tired and watching a second show has diminished the impact of the later performance for me.

I think it is a great idea that a few shows are shifting their matinee weekday schedules to increase attendance and give more opportunities for tourist to fit in more shows or see a show when they might not otherwise had the time.

Okay, how do you people do this? If I tried seeing that much, I'd have to rob a bank -- even with TKTS.

I used all my resources and paid full price for only THREE of the shows -- Wicked, Mormon, and Anything Goes. (I did have to pay full price for Sleep No More, too.) I was able to use discount codes on everything else, even using the LINCTIX program for $30 ticket to War Horse.

I also use Audience Rewards and was able to use my points to see Mary Poppins for free.

Still expensive trip becuase it is NYC (hotels are killer on the budget), but this was my summer vacation!

Good for you Shubert Alley Cat, what a great vacation! I just used AR points for Mary Poppins as well, going next weekend. It is the only theater I have not been in on B'way and that offer was too good to pass up.

So jealous. I cannot wait until I'm old enough to go on trips like that.

Awesome! My trip is coming up. First week of August. I will be seeing Phantom, Book of Mormon, Anything Goes, Spider-Man, and I have room for one but can't decide between Sister Act or War Horse.

I would think War Horse would be the better choice bwayphreak234, Sister Act, while not bad, is just not as memorable or moving as War Horse.

Very cool - thanks for sharing. Cannot believe you sat that long!

Looks like that Phantom Monday matinee and Baby Its You Friday matinee did the trick for you and for the the shows.

Would you rank them in order of preference and give a blurb on what you thought of each?
