This is a weird question and I apologize but is there any way in this show to not have Kate played by an African American? I haven't read or seen the show so I wasn't sure if they allude to her ethnicity and, if they did, if it was something that could possibly be cut out depending how often it's talked about. Thanks for any help, I really appreciate it.

Totally necessary for the author's intent.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
