Ok, Jordan, TWO BY TWO. Happy Now? I suppose you were backstage at the time, talking to Martin Charnin, right?

Great thread-- now we'll finally find out everyone's true age.

1st: Fiddler on the Roof in '67 with Harry Goz (3rd Tevye, I believe)
2nd: A Little Night Music, New Year's Eve '73 with Glynis Johns and the OBC.

I envy egghumor knowing just when to start going to the great sondheim-prince epics. Damn, girl!

First for me was The Wiz in 1975 a school trip.

It was funny we use to see a lot of shows for school trips that when they would announce we would be going to New York to see a show a lot of the kids would moan. I was the one who was always elated.

And now 36 years later I still have not lost my love and have passed that love on to my two nieces. One who is actually writing a play and the other who is a theatre major. ; )

The coolest thing though, since it was shown on PBS and released on DVD, I will always have that memory.
