I don't wanna hi-jack your thread, but I have an additional question on the same topic:
It's that time of year again and many theatre fans in the UK are thinking: "How the hell can I see the Tony Awards in the UK!?"
I downloaded TVU last year and it was crap, so I don't think I'll be able to use that. Somebody uploaded a link last year on the night where we could watch the awards streamed live. Anybody know if that exists still?
I'm torn between watching in Times Square, just watching at home, or maybe checking out the BroadwaySpace Party. Something about Cubby Bernstein hosting a Tony Party is pretty funny.
Clap~ There's a site called TVPC that I use (unreliably with their BBC1 stream) sometimes to watch UK shows. It's not completely reliable though either.
If you'd like, and if there are other people who might be interested, I can try setting up a livestream on my computer that night & posting the link here. When TVPC isn't working (which is frequently), that's what I've always done with Doctor Who & am hoping to do Sunday w/the BAFTAs!

ok- yeah, I for sure can! It won't be HD quality, but without the chat function, there should be no lag & acceptable quality. I've found livestream to be incredibly reliable & useful in these type of cases. I guess we're just both temporarily on the wrong side of the Atlantic! I'll make a note to PM you the link that evening so as to make sure you get it.
