I loved the thread with Corine's interview with John Kander.
"You can't overrate Bernadette Peters. She is such a genius. There's a moment in "Too Many Mornings" and Bernadette doing 'I wore green the last time' - It's a voice that is just already given up - it is so sorrowful. Tragic. You can see from that moment the show is going to be headed into such dark territory and it hinges on this tiny throwaway moment of the voice." - Ben Brantley (2022)
"Bernadette's whole, stunning performance [as Rose in Gypsy] galvanized the actors capable of letting loose with her. Bernadette's Rose did take its rightful place, but too late, and unseen by too many who should have seen it" Arthur Laurents (2009)
"Sondheim's own favorite star performances? [Bernadette] Peters in ''Sunday in the Park,'' Lansbury in ''Sweeney Todd'' and ''obviously, Ethel was thrilling in 'Gypsy.'' Nytimes, 2000
AND biological women. (Both straight and gay, I assume)
My favorite post is when someone "accused" me (recently) of always coming to Jordan's defense.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
The Tony thread when David Hyde Pierce won for CURTAINS.

Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)
The Claymates or whatever they were called yelling at everyone who didn't like Clay Aiken or wouldn't allow anyone to mention his name in any negative form.

Winston's year-end recaps. And outamydoodle. That homophobic girl who worshipped Rent and didn't see the hypocrisy. And the days when the very mention of the word YouTube got a thread deleted. Joyce DeWitt in Rent is the most recent one that has the makings of a classic. :)
Least favorite? A name I don't dare to say, though he almost never made any appearances on the main board. Updated On: 5/16/11 at 11:13 AM
Way back when, there was a very creative thread entitled "Rob and Criag's Broadway Theme Park". It went on for pages with people suggesting some incredible--and funny attractions for the park. I tried to find it for old times' sake but couldn't.
AH I forgot about the girl with the WICKED pants. I miss the FIRST WIVES CLUB mess.
Red-Day for change.
