I'm going to be in New York this weekend and am thinking about rushing either War Horse or Book of Mormon. I'm leaning towards War Horse. Has anyone gone to rush either show and now how many people tend to show up? Thanks in advance.

Book of Mormon has a lotto, and I would estimate that there were at least 100-150 people there when I tried a few weeks ago. War Horse has a rush policy in place, but I believe there are never actually rush tickets available.

When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain. -Kad

I tried to rush War Horse last week and the B.O. guy told me they haven't had rush tickets since previews. There is a cancellation line however. Full price. People line up approximately 4 hours before the show.

Not that this helps....but I just got tickets for both of these shows for a Saturday in June!

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

I just did the SRO line for Mormon on Tuesday. I got there at 2 and had my ticket in hand at 6:10 (show was at 7). But if I could have gotten a full price ticket to the show while I was in town, I would have paid it in a heartbeat - the show is totally worth it.
