It's not yet known if she's doing just this one stop or if Emma Hunton is leaving. Either way, the role is in great hands because both young ladies are phenomenal.
If this is true, I will be so mad. I'm seeing the final performance in Chicago, so I will be seeing Emma's final performance. I'm sure I'll love her performance and she'll be giving a great final performance, but I absolutely love Meghann and would do anything to see her. If I could, I would buy tickets to St. Paul and drive all the way up there. This just shows what kind of luck I have. I do wonder, however, why Emma would leave the tour with less than three months and how this would happen so suddenly. While she did play the role on Broadway, having only four days of rehearsal before going in does seem awfully quick.
Meghann is great, amazing in fact. I enjoyed her better than Damiano. However, people on these boards were really nasty to Meg when she started.
"The sexual energy between the mother and son really concerns me!"-random woman behind me at Next to Normal
"I want to meet him after and bang him!"-random woman who exposed her breasts at Rock of Ages, referring to James Carpinello
I am so incredbily jealous of anyone seeing her in St. Paul. She has always been my favorite Natalie, and to see her in the middle of a few different performances of Emma's would be a breath of fresh of air. Emma is clearly a wonderful talent, but I've only seen her a few times and I'm already a bit bored with her. I saw Meghann a number of times on Broadway, and never once got that feeling with her.
