Actually, until a show announces a real specific start date, cast, and venue, you never know if there's any real chance of it happening or not.

And even when they do announce those things, it's not rare for everything to fall apart (remember Godspell?).

Only Mountaintop has announced a specific date and theatre; it doesn't yet have a full cast.

So - nothing is really sure for 2011-2012 at this point.

Fat Pig and Master Class both got moved from this season to next season.

"In theater, the process of it is the experience. Everyone goes through the process, and everyone has the experience together. It doesn't last - only in people's memories and in their hearts. That's the beauty and sadness of it. But that's life - beauty and the sadness. And that is why theater is life." - Sherie Rene Scott

Bonnie & Clyde, by Frank Wildhorn is an original musical that's coming out. I saw it in Sarasota - unlike most of Wildhorn's other work, it's absolutely fabulous. Laura Osnes and Jeremy Jordan are doing the leads :)

There's also a possibility of Bring It On coming to Broadway, but it's touring first.

Someone said in the other thread that they were eyeing Zhivago for next April but I think that's still very unsure. Wasn't an American version of Rebecca in the works too or is that opening in Toronto next year? I guess even if Tales of the City is a big hit in San Fran there'd be little chance of it transfering by the next season...

I too loved Bonnie and Clyde.
Think it is going to surprise a lot of people and change Wildhorn's
naysayers.

Didn't like Wonderland but loved Bonnie and Clyde in Sarasota. Very different.

The Annie Revival was recently announced to open Fall 2012, so it'll be in the 2012-2013 season. Not the next upcoming one.

Personally, I'd like a revival of Titanic. 2012 marks the 100th anniversary of the ship sinking. Updated On: 5/7/11 at 12:51 AM

Allegiance with Lea Salonga and George Takei. The show is aiming for a 2012 opening from the last time I heard of it.

I like your imperturbable perspicacity.

I agree Massofmen. With Wonderland turning into a punch line, Frank is probably going to have a hard time financing a Broadway production of Bonnie & Clyde. A shame because I have a few friends who saw it in Florida who's opinions I respect and they pretty much raved about it.

"If this is going to be a Christian nation that doesn't help the poor, either we have to pretend that Jesus was just as selfish as we are, or we've got to acknowledge that He commanded us to love the poor and serve the needy without condition and then admit that we just don't want to do it." -Stephen Colbert
