I love a good revival. We only have 2 musical revivals this season. Doesn't the list of possible revivals for next season seem unusually large?
Dancin' (announced Roundabout revival) Evita Follies (possible Kennedy Center transfer) Funny Girl Godspell Hello, Dolly! (possible revival with LuPone) The King and I (possible Lincoln Center revival) Oklahoma! (Possible Arena transfer) On a Clear Day You Can See Forever (Harry Connick Jr. attached) Zorba (Antonio Banderas attached)
Am I missing any? How many of these do we think will actually happen?
Well Peters was reportedly trying to do Nunn's production in London too, in order to guarantee that she'll be Sally on Broadway regardless of which production transfers. But doing Nunn's production didn't pan out. If the KC production gets great reviews, I would imagine we'll see a transfer. Updated On: 2/20/11 at 01:46 PM
it may just be rumored, but isn't the Papermill production of Newsies also it's pre-Broadway tryout??
as of now, only Dancin' & Evita are confirmed, the rest are just "in the works".
