In the revival of Night Music, with each scene, different images would appear in the frosted glass windows to denote different locations. What I'm curious about is how they achieved that effect?

I assume it was projections.

I think there might have been prints that were placed behind the glass and backlit when needed (like the glass is a 1 way mirror [i learned that from spongebob])
What a colossal piece of crap! It'll probably run for years.

I'm pretty sure aasjb4ever is correct -- there were panels placed behind the glass that could be changed.
