When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain.

Beck's endorsement (which is about as moronic sounding as a hyena's laugh) makes me want to see this show less. But he was right about the casting director being a part of history-- a part of the history of Broadway's biggest flop.
WOW - You know - My Spidey sense thinks Glen Beck is high on a concoction made by the Green Goblin!! I always thought Glen Beck enjoyed living in a good fantasy land! Now we have irrefutable proof.

He got the price of the production cost wrong. He claimed it was a $50 million production. So that disqualifies him from making any commentary on it. He also said it's in "reviews" now. Way to go, Glenn. You're an idiot. He also said the storyline is fantastic. That's apparently not what everyone else has said...
Can someone please put this man in the loony bin? lol
He is an idiot. He obviously has no idea what he is talking about. He's off on the production costs and claims there are political conservative undertones. Okay Glenn...
"There’s nothing quite like the power and the passion of Broadway music. "
Just waiting for Beck the theatre (sorry Theater - only Frenchies and liberals spell it -re) snob to tell us all how Billy Elliot shows how Margaret Thatcher wins out over those damn anarchist unions. Okay, the cross-dressing and the ballet dancing boys would be a tough sell. But then again, maybe Mr Beck secretly wants to wear a tutu. Now that is a Photoshop worth doing...
I'm guessing Mr. Beck has a lifetime season pass membership to Blacklick Valley High School Productions and that is why he says it is "by far the best musical I have ever seen." He also must not have seen any cirque du soleil shows, saying that it "I have never seen anything like it before."
He's free to hold whatever opinion he wants about the show. However, on his views on the show's political aspects and others' reactions to those alledged aspects: either (1) he really believes that or (2) he doesn't but he's making a connection just to score a point and/or get attention. Either way, he's a frakking idiot.
