I remember a while back there were picks of the possible 9 to 5 and La Cage artwork. Anyone know of any other possible artwork for shows? I'd love to see the ideas thrown around for the blockbusters we have now.

Does anyone have possible pics of the 9 to 5 artwork?

There was a feature in the Times a while back about the various ideas for the Ragtime revival artwork that were thrown around...maybe someone else can find it because I don't remember what exactly it was called.

I really like the first version of the Night Music artwork that ljay posted...in fact I think I like it better than the final version of the artwork, haha.

The producers of the Broadway Night Music were really indecisive...for marketing they used the current lake orange/purple gradient but on the marquee they used the waxing crescent moon. (For CZJ and Lansbury, now they're using the lake for BP and Stritch)

The producers didn't make the change. Trevor Nunn was not satisfied with the "marquee artwork"/second picture I posted - so he had them change it into the "lake artwork". The marquee wasn't changed until the new cast took over.

Oh, i just assumed it was the producers. And I didnt really word my (parentheses) right, i meant to say they used the moon marquee for Catherine and Angela and for Bernadette and Elaine, they're using the lake marquee

Next to Normal @ arena stage. This is my favorite of the posters.

For those who thought NEXT TO NORMAL wouldn't have a life outside Broadway, well it's now playing in 4 cities, 9 different countries and has been translated into 6 languages.

This is the Current Next to normal artwork. This emphasizes the whole suburban family thing.

Back in 2008 I saw the N2N artwork outside of Second Stage and it really intrigued me and sparked my interest in it...lol and I already knew about it by the time it hit broadway that the newest artwork didn't do much for me cause I was already psyched to see it.
End rant

^ So do i, and i was so disappointed when the commercials came out that it just panned across the jumbled staff and I wanted to see it crash and be disastrous but, alas.

^ I think that the whole idea of a crash of the music staff would be awesome.
