Posted: 7/11/10 at 6:43amI saw an amateur production of Footloose about a year ago. I thought I'd hate it and only went to see it because a friend of mine was in it - and I was surprised how much I enjoyed it!

I enjoy Footloose. I watched it on Broadway and could see that a really fun good show was in there screaming to get out.
Then i saw the 1st UK tour and could tell it was getting there, then the second UK tour with Derek in and then i felt they had the show

Rehearses December 20th, opens Newcastle Theatre Royal 21st January 2011, then tours until July 2011.
The casting breakdowns have gone out to agents. Given the timing of this, they have gone out early to ensure they get outstanding dancers before panto contracts restrict the talent available.
