They handed him a mic to talk to the crowd right after. I am pretty sure it will all be edited in.
I was meant to dance it but the music was NOT as loud as they said it would be so we missed our cue! They had told us to wait inside the stores and to blend in until a certain part of the song. I popped my head out the store to see what was happening about 2 minutes before the scheduled time and they were just about finished with it so I only got to do the very end

I got to dance and it was a great experience. It was hilarious hearing people say, "look, they're doing High School Musical" when people first started randomly dancing. Then they tried to get a closer look not realizing they were right in the middle of a huge group that was about to erupt in dance very shortly. The look on Lin's face was priceless.
