I wish I could get a chance to see it again, but I've accepted that it was a good show, with a good run, and some nice awards. All good things must come to an end.
While I am suprised it isn't holding out for the summer....ticket sales don't lie. Not enough people want to see it. Period. YOU look at the grosses....they are embarrassing. Can you imagine playing THAT show to a house that is only 30% full? (or any show, really.)
It had a great run. Made some money, made many of us very happy. Let it go.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
As much as I love this show, it will be my 7th time seeing it on closing day since I started seeing it in February. The show is suffering so much and it just needs to go out with a bang and with the tour coming up, it will continue to live on. Every show has to come to an end at some point, whether you like it or not.
I'm a professional. Whenever something goes wrong on stage, I know how to handle it so no one ever remembers. I flash my %#$&.
"Jayne just sat there while Gina flailed around the stage like an idiot."
