the stage is really high. I sat in front row after winning lotto and loved it though. I'm rather short 5'3 and other than a stiff neck I could see pretty much everything. Just depends on if you can deal with a stiff neck and how short you are lol. I would sit in those lotto seats a million times though, it's all personal preference.

I will be coming to NY this coming weekend and was planning to see American Idiot Sunday night and thought about purchasing tickets in the Rear Mezz or Balcony.
Can anyone tell me if these are good view and worth it?
If it is your first time seeing the show, and you want to sit in the orchestra, then yes, row A is WAY too close. I've seen the show 14 times between Berkeley and NYC. At the St. James, the best seating is the Orchestra starting at Row E back. In fact that's where Green Day sits when they see the show. Hope that helps.
Of the 8 times I've seen it for 6 of them I sat in rows B or C and love them so I would argue that A is perfectly fine, but I don't like being far back.
about the person who wants to buy balcony seats, I saw it in row B of the balcony and it was great. I had to bend over a couple times but otherwise it was fine.

Thanks for the info defygravity24. They have a Row C center seat available that I will probably purchase. I would love to try and win lotto seats but I wanted to see a matinee on Sun for another show and wouldn't make it on time for AI lotto. :)
i think that h might be the best! 3rd would be too close for me but that's just me.
