And now that Ghost Whisperer is dunzo, Hewitt may head to New York. "I'm looking at possibly doing Broadway," she said. "To be able to sing and dance will be fun."
"The gods who nurse this universe think little of mortals' cares. They sit in crowds on exclusive clouds and laugh at our love affairs. I might have had a real romance if they'd given me a chance. I loved him, but he didn't love me. I wanted him, but he didn't want me. Then the gods had a spree and indulged in another whim. Now he loves me, but I don't love him." - Cole Porter
She can sing, but I just don't think she will do well on Broadway after failing with her TV show. She should stay in LA. I don't think her limited fanbase will buy tix to see her on the NY stage.
"People have their opinions and that doesn't mean that their opinions are wrong or right. I just take it with a grain of salt because opinions are like as*holes, everyone has one".

I for one would gladly welcome a musical version of Can't Hardly Wait. But only if it had a song called "I Mean, He's Preston."
When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain.

I have a dance video from when I was 5, called Dance! Workout with Barbie, and she's one of the dancers! She looks about 13 tops. Not exactly 'dancing' so much as marching in place with Barbie, but I'm sure she had to audition for it. hahaha.
I'd welcome her back to Broadway if it meant doing Menken's A Christmas Carol on B'way again, really want to see it done in a way that isn't cheap & regional!

The show ran for, what, 5 years?

I would hardly class The Ghost Whisperer as a failure; they had 4 seasons. Which is more than most series achieve. I think she'd be great on Broadway; she's a decent actress and singer. In the right show, she could do very well. Good luck to her.
I'd love it! I think she's got a good voice, so if she chooses a musical I'm sure it would be great. I'm one of the people who's actually really upset GHOST WHISPERER is gone without a proper finale. I loved it.

Failing? where have you been, the show was a big hit. All shows get axed at some point it does not mean they failed, especially that one, it had a great run.
Namo i love u but we get it already....you don't like Madonna
that's 5 seasons, over 100 episodes, and in the Friday night death slot. I love Jennifer Love Hewitt and I would love to see her on Broadway. And the idea of a "Can't Hardly Wait" musical is fantastic!
Ghost Whisperer had a comic book series as a spinoff product which led to Jennifer Love Hewitt writing her own comic book currently out now called The Music Box. Whisperer was a minor sensation, actually, and the comic title sold strongly for independent publisher IDW.
I had no clue it ran that long, so just ignore my comment. Still, she is one "Star" I have no interest in seeing. But she has a pretty good singing voice.

Jordan, what about a flashback song called "Denise Fleming is a Tampon"?
I'm so glad I didn't see Lauren Ambrose at the stage door after Exit the King, because I know I would've said that.

It's actually done as a dream ballet, givesmevoice.
What happens during the "Kenny Fisher is a Dendraphiliac" movement? Other than the obvious dancing trees.

I was thinking about that and I think that should be done as a dream/nightmare sequence but from the trees point of view. That dance will be done immediately after the song "Oh the horrors in the fridge".
Maybe I'm aiming a little high, but I think the scope of this material is operatic.

I think that's the only wait it would work. And the similarities to Angels in America are astounding and if Jenna Elfman reprised her role it would be shattering.
