I did it last Thursday and got there around 6 when they start selling the rush tickets, and had not problem getting one. There was only one person waiting ahead of me. It was a great seat too in the first row of the loge.
They say that they sell rush tickets two hours prior to show time. However, I have gotten there a little late before after the two hour mark and I was still able to get a rush ticket without a problem. In fact, in all the times that I have went to rush this show, I don't think that I was ever told that there weren't anymore rush tickets available.

They are very strict about the one ticket for one ID thing. However, I did go with a friend and they let each of us buy our own ticket with our student ID however they knew that we were together and let us sit together.

Last Wednesday mat was an anomaly. They had some special program and 1000 high school students were brought in to see the show (as per LCT's Facebook page).
However, I have gotten there a little late before after the two hour mark and I was still able to get a rush ticket without a problem.
That's because they *start* selling them two hours before the show. It's not like they only sell them exactly two hours before the show and then stop when it's an hour and 59 minutes before the show.
When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain.
