Well, they've thrown up a teaser graphic on http://www.playhousesquare.com. Red text on a white background with "4/6/10 - Something's Coming" written on it. That has to be a dead giveaway that "West Side Story" will be a part of the new season.

I wouldn't doubt if they added South Pacific to Cleveland. Really Cleveland is rather big with season subscriptions. It's probably going to gain steam as it tours.
Of those though, Mary Poppins was part of the season last year, Wicked came through for the third time this season, and Young Frankenstein was the first show this year.
We'll probably get Shrek and West Side Story. I'm hoping for Next to Normal to be on the schedule.
Yeah, Wicked will definitely NOT be anywhere on the schedule this year. They made it very clear that this past November's engagement would be Cleveland's last for a few years. And, remember, they have to fill 7-8 shows for the Broadway series, and THEN have an extras series. So it is fairly certain that Cleveland will be nabbing most of the major touring shows this year.

Well, it was supposed to be revealed at Gina Vernacci's big "Look At Me! press release secret-revealing live event" thing in 2 hours, but Cleveland news sources leaked the lineup this morning.
Oct. 5-17: Blue Man Group Nov. 18 - Dec. 12: "Billy Elliot: The Musical." Feb 1-13: "South Pacific." March 1-13: "Shrek: The Musical." April 5-17, 2011: "Les Miserables." May 3-15, 2011: "West Side Story." June 7-19, 2011: "Next to Normal."
I'm excited for "Next to Normal" but seriously? They're playing it REALLY safe with the rest of the season. And what's up with Blue Man Group?
