It appears that the spring Broadway Cares post-show fundraising has begun (which I always look forward to quite a bit!) - tonight at A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE, which was just as amazing as the buzz has claimed, they were selling signed posters for $100.00. Any word on others shows beginning to collect?
MEMPHIS - signed posters for $60, broken record props for $40 THE PRIDE - signed posters for $30 RACE - I believe they had signed posters but I don't know the price
Other shows that have begun collecting; PHANTOM, WICKED, MAMMA MIA, NEXT TO NORMAL, BILLY ELLIOT, WEST SIDE STORY.
Yank! was collecting tonight. Nothing in particular being sold- except, according to the BC/EFA speech, cast members (Bobby Steggert is apparently quite expensive).
"...everyone finally shut up, and the audience could enjoy the beginning of the Anatevka Pogram in peace."
In the Heights had signed playbills ($40), signed posters ($100), and you could have your photo taken with Corbin Bleu for $60.

A friend was at The Lion King the other night and said they were collecting too. She mentioned signed posters and you can get your picture taken with Mufasa.
Fela this past Sunday had signed playbills for $30, signed posters for $100 and they had a limited amount of sweatshirts made just for the cast for sale, about 150 left. Probably sold out of those by now. Addams Family as of this past Tuesday did nothing after the curtain.
How long do they usually collect/sell things for? I'm thinking I might be headed to the city in April/May timeframe. Will the still be collecting then? Thanks!
As if Yank! wasn't already wonderful enough - I saw it today and was blown away - they announced tonight that earlier today the cast shot a pin-up calendar that will be available at the theatre next week or through Broadway Cares. They said with twelve actors in the cast, everyone gets a month!

BEHANDING's posters are $200 each. Last night they only had 6 signed ones and sold 4 of them! I hope they sign some more for tonight's show because they sold more than I would have thought! The posters are signed by the four actors and the playwright.
Wicked has posters, aprons, tote bags,a nd for $20 you can enter a raffle to win a walk-on role in the show.

^ It's weird Mary Poppins increased the price on the signed poster. When I was there in the fall, they sold them for $25, unless it was towards the end of the fundraiser and they wanted to sell as many as possible.
