Billy Elliot rush tickets |
I think that they do not have them now because the show is selling so well. But, I'm not completely sure.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
I just checked on their website and it said the rush policy and nothing about not doing it, so I assume they'll have it.
BE rush doesn't exist right now. Every show is sold out ahead of time, and the line you see by the box office is the cancellation line.
Their website doesn't say all the shows are sold out and I just went on ticketmaster and tried and I can still get row G tickets in the center orchestra.

I was disappointed when I got to the box office and was told that all student rush policies have been cancelled starting after they swept up the Tonys in June...it has been nonexistent since then...contrary to what any rush policy website says...They said that it wouldn't resume until at least next year - if ever.
The $41.50 seats are sold out definitely about a week in advanced so if you know when you want to go, plan in advance.
I would hope that as the show keeps getting replacements that they would bring the rush policy back in.

it usually sells out by showtime and i know in the box office they put up a sign under the first window that says student tickets are not available for this performance
im sure once christmas is over that therell be more of a chance for them

ohoh and a when will Billy be on TDF once a month at least...seriously its been at 100% for 5 months straight now and probably has huge advanced sales...I'm SURE rush will come back, but measure the time in years not months. And heres betting that the"replacements" are just as good on average as the originals, the Billy Machine knows what its doing in picking them, almost 5 years now in the UK and quality wise still as good.I was afraid for Billys long term success here at first, I think they've got years ahead of them now for sure.
