Does anyone know how to find out Broadway financial reports?

Does anyone know where to find detailed financial reports on Broadway plays/musicals.

I know that many release a press statement when they recouped...

Is there any site that is simple and lets you know

- Which shows recouped

- How much a show has made, minus expenses (In other words the net rather than the gross)

A website like BroadwayForBrokePeople would be awesome for this info!

Many shows are funded privately and have no obligation to disclose their actual profit or loss during the run.

For commercial shows, that's private information. Even the people working on the show don't necessarily know any more than what's released as the weekly grosses. Only the lead producers and probably general managers know how a show is doing overall.

Nonprofits have to file tax forms called 990s, which are public information. If you read through those for a nonprofit like Roundabout, you MIGHT be able to figure out how each show had done, but it's complicated and they only have to disclose certain financial information.

Yes, frontrowcentre is kind enough to post on this board the annual Variety reports on hits and flops.
