I had been wanting Groff to guest on Glee SO much anyway, so I just spazzed BIG time reading this news <3
Though, as much as Groff and Lea are super hot together, I kiinda want him to be the love interest of Kurt instead.. that would be adorable. hehe
I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay. Something next to normal is what I'd like to try. Close enough to normal to get by.
^right!? It would be too cute. And besides, Rachel's already got TWO love interests going as it is! She doesn't a third :P
And yeah, I had totally missed the part that said he was just guesting for 5 to 6 episodes at first haha. But I mean, it's still awesome- 5 to 6 episodes is a lot! Plus, a lot of times when shows bring on guest characters for a chunk of episodes like that, if the character becomes a fan favorite and the actor can do it schedule-wise, they'll end up bringing them on permanently :) That's what happened with Addison on Grey's Anatomy, and I know it's happened in some other cases too. So you never know. But even if it's just for that chunk of episodes, it shall still be awesome

I love Groff, but would much rather see him in a new theatre project in NYC than on this show. I'll watch the show (even though I'm not a fan) to see him, but all while wishing he was back performing on stage.
Still, good for him! It's great that he'll be getting exposure.
BroadwayGuy12, I completely agree with you. 'Glee' is so dreaduful to watch. I can take campy but I believe Ryan Murphy and the producers may be slightly insane. "Fake pregnancies?" Oh, please.
... Wouldn't it be hilarious after everybody guesses he'll be Rachel's love interest (which I would guess he will be too), he turns out to be Kurt's love interest? That would be fantastic!

That's exactly what happened with Jane Lynch on Glee. Her role was supposed to be a small re-occurring role, but she was so fantastic they made her a series regular.
...I believe I read somewhere that he'll be playing a love interest for Lea Michele as the lead singer/soloist of Vocal Adrenaline (New Directions main glee-club rivals).
