somethingwicked and LizzieCurry, Gay Bride's Twitter is actually http://www.twitter.com/GayBride. The Tweet is on their account. For some reason, she typed in the entire name. I don't know why she changed it if she was re-Tweeting it from their account, unless she typed everything manually and just forgot their user name.
Guess it shows that she doesn't understand Twitter either.

Probably the latter. It happens, but you'd think that someone who shames how OTHERS don't understand Twitter would've figured this out already.

One more thing about this. I read DE's resume on her website, and I know some of the offices that she worked in previously. I can tell you whole-heartedly that if she pulled this crap while working for Melcap or Ellen Parks, or Stancyk and Cherpakov...they would've fired her on the spot.
No self respecting casting team would condone this sort of behavior. I'm talking about successful casting directors who work on Broadway shows and major TV and film projects. Not green, unqualified casting directors like Daryl who work primarily on NYMF shows and student films, and then make the majority of their living "teaching" classes...which are essentially ways to scam actors into "paying for an audition."

Ignoring the personalities and specifics for moment, let's just look at the bottom line again:
An audition is a JOB INTERVIEW. If a company made the contents of a job interview public for the entertainment of others, it would be entirely unethical.
This is NOT an issue of first amendment rights; it is not being suggested this person be thrown in jail. The issue is about appropriate business behavior.

Unfortunately for her, Eisenberg's lack of remorse seems to imply she's of the "no publicity is bad publicity" mantra.
As this story gets more and more coverage, it's going to hurt her career more and more.

Announcing to the world that she's got everyone she wants to see, and next Monday's audition is superfluous. Doing what she can to get a dig in. Unbelievable.

Referencing my last comment regarding her tweeting about a Tony winning composer sharing his thoughts. Though she never actually came out and said he was on her side it was, definitely, implied. I know that a lot of people did think that this nameless composer had thrown his support for her. Do you think if she hadn't done that Marc would have kept quiet and not gone public? Or would he have done it anyway?

I think we would have heard from Mr. Shaiman. He has not hesitated to call people out for their B.S. before, popping up on the worst of these boards, the Sacramento Music Circus/Scott Eckhern affair, etc, etc.
Another round of applause to him for keeping connected and reminding us that the higher ups are indeed watching.

She did not own up to everything. "I apologize to the actors who put themselves on the line" is not the same thing as "I did a stupid thing and I'm sorry."
Does "mutual agreement" mean that Equity told her they would revoke her status if she did it again and she said, "Gulp, okay"?
