I saw KMK two nights ago and they had window cards that are in color (unlike the playbill cover). I didn't think the stage door was too bad. Kelli was taking pictures with people as long as it was fast. She seemed to get a little annoyed when a family kept taking pictures with her as they were moving slowly. Completely understandable because it was really cold out.

Such a wonderful, truly enjoyable show.

That was certainly more than enough for me. I went in hoping to have a blissful time and I did.

I'm not against it. I enjoyed it. Twice. I'm wary of the critics. Most still remember the 1999 revival with Brian Stokes Mitchell and Marin Mazzie. That's a tough target to hit.

If I compared it to the last Roundabout big budget comedy, On the Twentieth Century, I'd put Kiss me Kate a bit behind it. I wonder what kind of Anna Kristin Chenoweth would have made. (totally joking).

When the last revival went to the West End, the production was taped. In London, the show starred Brent Barrett and Rachel York. Sets and all of the rest were the same...

This is up on Youtube in 22 six minute parts. I watched it to compare. Of course Blu_ray much better.
