I rushed on Sat. 7/27/19- got there at exactly 8. Was 14th in line. I was offered last row of balcony or standing room only. Took sro spots 2 & 4. Really great view.
I showed up around 10am today and was 8th in line, they offered a variety of options and I went with two Standing Room spots as I’ve heard they are preferable. But they had partial view orchestra and balcony seats as well.
I arrived at 7:45am and was 4th in line. It’s now just before 9am and there are 5 behind me.update: 9:25am about 30 people in line total

Website says box office opens different times depending if it's a 1PM matinee (box office opens at 10AM) or 2PM matinee (box office opens at 12PM). So without knowing your show time, you either got there right as they opened and or 2 hours in advance. Just wanted to clarify, TIA!

ETA: Just clearing my confusion since the Sunday Matinees are currently scheduled at either at 1PM or 2PM (depending on date, it varies week by week over the run).
I think it would be safe to assume on the day he is referring to, the box office opened at 12.noon. If it's a 2 show day with a box office opening at 10, obviously you want to get there an hour or two earlier than that to maximize your chances.
To update, I arrived at Schubert Theater Sun 9/28 around 10:20 and was 16th in line to rush the 2PM Mat. To everyone's surprised the box office open early at 11AM, rather than 12PM, not sure how common this is. There were people who arrived at 11:15 and got tickets without waiting more than a couple of minutes.I was offered partial balcony and SRO. I chose SRO for based on feedback it has better full view than seated partial views given court room scenes. Re: earlier question on rail height I got #18 which was 4th from house right aisle (at lowest point) and by stairwell where cast exit/entered. I'm 5'2" and though ledge didn't block my view it was too high to comfortably rest my arms but the height was right at where I could rest my chin. YMMV but I screwed myself over by walking more than I should've knowing I had SRO tix so my legs were aching by intermission. The stairwell door/light from cast exiting/entering house was more distracting than I expected given intensity of play. All things considered I'd probably should've gone for seated option if I had to redo. Regardless I am still grateful for opp to see an amazing show for $39 even with SRO.
Thursday 10/3 was 5th in line at 8:11am. Trying for SRO. The 6th person showed at 8:52. 7 & 8 showed up at 8:55.
anyone rushed for balcony or orchestra seats recently?
Going on Wednesday, October 9th matinee. If I am there by 8:00am should that work?
Mr Roxy said: "Since regular prices are beyond stratospheric this is the way to go . No.longer attend for this reason and due to health problems involving age. Oh well. All good things must pass "FWIW there are $59 wweknight balcony seats on TodayTix after the new cast starts Nov 5th.
Just wondering how people have done on Saturday's? Thinking about rushing two tickets on the 19th. Wondering if they give more availability to the matinee or evening? What time I should try and be there? Thanks all!
Anyone have any SRO line updates?

Hey friends! Made an account just to update everyone. Sorry I don’t have more specific info, but I rushed for the Sunday matinee today 10/20 at 2pm. I arrived roughly 10:06. I didn’t get an exact count of people in front of me, but I think I was at least #18 and there were some pairs/groups in front of and behind me.10:12 - one person arrived, but decided to leave after 10 minutes or so10:17 - two more people arrived10:24 - three more people10:28 - two more people10:33 - three more peopleI wasn’t able to keep a super good eye as the line kept growing and I think some more may have given gone for other options. But as someone previously said, they opened the box office early at 11am, so I only had to wait about an hour! I was able to get SRO #2 and the person working even said to me that they were better. Had my ticket by 11:06. I didn’t stick around, but there seemed to be about 10 or so people behind me, so if they didn’t go for rush, they probably would’ve been able to get SRO too if they wanted. Happy rushing!
