A New "View" Starts Today

Was it necessary for Joy to say that? No. Was it necessary for Megan to react like that? No. But Megan does need to lighten up, she was pretty good this week up until today.

Seems like Fridays will have a male co-host, or guy day Friday. Megan appears like she'll be missing Fridays to be with her dad.

Almost wished Meghan was there today during the Kathy Griffin interview. She obviously would have had words for Griffin and would have loved to see Griffin take her down just as she did Elizabeth Hasselback years ago.

Meghan was unbearable during their first segment today. I honestly felt uncomfortable watching and thought she was on the verge of crying. She pulled the "I'm just trying to get the conservative point across" again. Her and Joy clearly don't get along but I think it's becoming clear her & Sunny don't get along. She needs to take notes from Ana Navarro on how to get her "conservative point" across without complaining about it. When they came back from break she remained fairly quite for the rest of the show.

I've been to quite a few, and while I do think Meghan can be insensitive....she isn't wrong about the crowd applause. Tom leads the pack and when he raises his arm, you clap and sometimes she gets the short straw. Either way, I see her coming back. Ratings are sky rocketing putting the show back in its glory days.

ucjrdude902, Is Tom the audience warm up guy and is he a friend of yours?  I ask, because at my last taping (October 2017) he insulted myself and a guy sitting near me.  He thought he would get an audience laugh at our expense.  Well, the joke died and no one laughed.  I reversed the favor and read him and the entire audience roared.  He got miffed and threatened the "I'll kick you out routine".  I responded "do it".  At that point he pu***** out.

While that doesn't shock me, at all, no he is not a friend. My only connection to the show is through some producer friends. Why he bounces around all of ABC, I have no idea. Again though, he really does control the crowd and if I were McCain, I'd be annoyed too.

Though the two or three times they had Ana Navarro fill in during Sarah's maternity leave was a nice balance with both her and Meghan at the table. I'm sure Meghan would prefer it if Ana was at the table more often with her.
