South Florida,
PLEASE don't do it!!!
You don't strike me as someone willing to go to the same lengths as them to take out the opposition. When I was a kid my tell-it-like-it-is-f*ck-your-feelings-dad gave me a lil' advice which went "just because you don't like a man means that you can whoop his arse". And his mom, my grandma, was fond of reminding her granddaughters and nieces that "you don't tickle a tiger's tail" in the context of domestic disputes.
In short, both elections and provocations have consequences. That's why in my community folks are fond of saying, "don't start no shaite won't be none". If you call those guys out of their names like you suggest without being prepared & able to go the distance, you'll likely get an answer in the most unwelcome way imaginable. You have every right to defend yourself, your loved ones, and your private property. But, please cool your jets and find another way to vent your 2nd amendment frustration.
ETA: I had to call my dad to get the correct version his tidbit of advice nearly 50 years ago.
From what I can determine it seems perfectly within your character to call them faggots and that your voice would drip with contempt as you do so. You were probably voted "Boy Most Likely To Call Others 'Faggots'" in your high school yearbook. Just my opinion.

Survival is a basic instinct made more challenging by showing up to a gunfight with a pair of fists and biting sarcasm.

I'm sure you understand that your thinking using a gay slur to accuse someone of being gay would be the ultimate insult to them is rooted in your subconscious or maybe even conscious belief that being gay would be the most distasteful thing in the world someone could be accused of. You get this, right? The last time I can remember being around someone who used that term to get someone angry was... oh, i don't know... maybe 3rd grade?
What I've noticed on here is that you tend to come out with somewhat extreme, highly emotional opinions and then in most cases, the first time someone calls you on them, you backtrack furiously. That's maybe OK in the setting of an anonymous discussion board but doing it in real life could put you in line for a serious asskicking and the only one who would be humiliated is you.
I'd seriously encourage you to look at your seeming inability to control your emotions and reactions to things cause I don't think running after a truck with a window sticker you find offensive shouting gay slurs at them is the behavior of an rational adult.

I think you're the only one who wants to throw gays under the bus and emulate their adversaries to do so. But I am curious...given the fact that these people are gun enthusiasts, why go out of your way to intentionally antagonize them directly in what you believe would be the most offensive manner to them, especially when you could assume they are probably carrying loaded weapons and waiting for any excuse to use them (and probably get away with it)? Wouldn't it be quicker to just shoot yourself?
