Here's the people who have so far been confirmed to return to both programs.
"Here is who is expected to return to OLTL’s Llanview: Erika Slezak as Victoria Lord Buchanan, Robin Strasser as Dorian Lord, Tuc Watkins as David Vickers, Robert S. Woods as Bo Buchanan, Kassie DePaiva as Blair Cramer, Jerry verDorn as Clint Buchanan, Florencia Lozano as Tea Delgado, Melissa Archer as Natalie Buchanan Banks, Hillary B. Smith as Nora Buchanan, Kelley Missal as Danielle Manning, Josh Kelly as Cutter Wentworth and Andrew Trischitta as Jack Manning. Down to recur is Sean Ringgold as Shaun Evans, Shenaz Treasury Rama Patel and Nick Choksi as Vimal Patel.
As for AMC, here’s who is coming back to Pine Valley: Darnell Williams as Jesse Hubbard, Debbi Morgan as Dr. Angela Hubbard, Vincent Irizarry as Dr. David Hayward, Lindsay Hartley as Cara Martin Jordi Vilasuso as Griffin Castillo, Jill Larson as Opal Cortlandt and Thorsten Kaye as Zach Slate."
The horrific way the actors were blamed by ABC for "Kish", I can't see them rushing back to the show even under new management, unfortunately.
I'm a bit worried that Hulu means--like all their shows--we won't be able to access the show in Canada, despite promises we will somehow be able to. I like the team heading OLTL, but am more worried about the AMC writing team. Still, I hope everything works out.
Due to Devious Maids, her new Marc Cherry show, no surprise but Susan Lucci's just signed on for one episode as of now. But as a big AMC fan I'm thrilled that David Canary *and* Julia Barr are back
With the new owners of OLTL claiming copyrights to the characters of John McBain, Todd Manning and Starr Manning, they have demanded that the characters return from General Hospital to OLTL. Michael Easton (McBain) has already said he will film his last episode of General Hospital on February 8. While the new owners of OLTL own the character rights, they do not own the actors all of whom could refuse to return the internet series.
GH has already introduced an evil identical twin for McBain, so it is possible Easton could remain with GH as a different character.
Roger Howarth (Todd Manning) has lived with his wife and kids in Los Angeles for many years and only returned to OLTL for the final months with the promise of the GH gig. It would be a shame to lose him from GH because he and Carly have such great chemistry.
I will bet ABC has lawyers working overtime on this situation.
As is David Canary, albeit in a recurring commitment (he's still semi retired.)
When they wrote off Brooke, without an exit, it was one of the worse things the show ever did--for me she was as much AMC as Erica Kane (who apparently so far will only do one episode since Susan is busy filming Devious Maids). So I'm thrilled.
