Is Alli's Glinda robe still at the Wicked table?

A Post from Hair on broadway: THREE of their expensive items were stolen. How freakin' sad is that!?

I actually heard from a few tables they had some pricier things go missing. In that cramped space it's not at all surprising.

What kind of sick people would steal from charity?

a rain date definitely would have been a good idea. my eyes and head were hurting from trying to see everything in the darkness. not to mention how hot and crowded it was at 10 am. but it was my first time, and i'm really glad i went. looking forward to going when it can be held outside, i'm sure it's much more enjoyable.

I bought a torn yellow shirt signed by will from the hair table, a signed men of rock of ages calendar, and photo booth pics with john stamos and bernadette peters. getting to meet bernadette was definitely the highlight of the day. it was worth every penny i spent and the major headache i have now from dealing with heat and the crowd.

Anyone know when those people who made auction pre-bids find out if they've won? Just wondering since I couldn't actually make it out to the Flea Market today.

Just posted on Hair's Twitter: @HAIRTribe Lots of people want to know what was stolen. A Grinch glass paperweight, a Spring Awakening Leather Embossed Journal, and a signed Tony Hat.

That's really quite sad.

I can't believe someone would steal at an event for charity. So low.

A selection:
Hair 2004 benefit poster signed by the entire cast - $20
Broadway Cares sweatshirt - $10
Tony Award bag - $10
Broadway the Golden Age - $5
TDF ticket booth (won none) - $10
random assortment of Playbills and other items

I had fun!

Hey - had anyone started a thread for tickets from the TDF booth that they want to trade or get different dates for?

I have a Playwrights Horizon voucher for any show there, Stomp on 10/7, and The Fantastiks for 10/1 (I have Oleanna for the same night, so I'd trade it for a different show, or a different Fantastiks date).

I'd be interested in Brighton Beach Memoirs, Rock of Ages, Memphis, and Shrek.

Please message me, thanks!!

Billy Elliot program (which is beautiful!)- $5
Torn Yellow Shirt from Hair- $10 (they couldnt find change so they just let me have it for $5 cheaper, hm.)
Photo with Will Swenson-$10
9 to 5 Playbill- $1
I also spent $5 on 6 tickets in that pick a ticket thing or whatever it's called, but won nothing

Overall I was really disappointed. Most of the stuff this year seemed like junk re: What Did You Get at the BCEFA Broadway Flea Market? The yellow shirt from Hair was such a sweet surprise though!

What were these torn yellow Hair T-shirts? Were the rips supposed to be there or were they rejects (if that makes sense, ha)?

Yeah, there was no air downstairs; I couldn't take it.

Ha. Try standing in it for 6 hours straight. We had no lighting down there & once the customers started coming in, the temperature rose even worse.

I went upstairs to browse around a few times and picked up some small items, like a BCEFA sweatshirt & pin, Grey Gardens buttons & Playbills, signed South Pacific CD. But my biggest find was getting 5 frames from Triton for only $40 total!!

Oh, and an autograph & picture with Brian Stokes Mitchell, who was selling at the table behind mine downstairs. re: What Did You Get at the BCEFA Broadway Flea Market?

Oh, and some free things I got from friends & colleagues at the end of the day, like a Phantom tote bag, a Urinetown hat, some CDs and the entire DVD set of The L-Word. :)

I don't know. Ask all the people on LJ trade communities who ask for the Actor's Fund Hair recording or Broadway Chatterbox episodes to be uploaded.

Did anyone see Brian Stokes Mitchell's book up close? Since when did he have a book?

This was my first flea market!! I can imagine it's nicer outside.

I ended up getting a I <3 DULOC pin signed by Chris Seiber, Playbills from GYPSY OF THE YEAR, THE HEIRESS, TWILIGHT 1992, AUNTIE MAME (with Rosalind Russel) and MY FAIR LADY (with Rex Harrison and Julie Andrews), and a HEDDA GABLER with Mary Louise Parker window card.

Other items:
Little Mermaid signed ornament by Sierra and Sean $1
Boeing Boeing, Wedding Singer, Wicked, and The Pirate Queen souvenier progams, 4 for $1.

I got:

Picture with John Stamos - $20 (I was wearing a Jesse and the Rippers t-shirt and he loved it and made the crew take a second pic to try to get the words on the t-shirt to show)
Picture with Julie Pinson - $10
Picture of me holding a Tony - $10
"Little House: The Musical" poster - $5
"Come to My Garden: Songs of Lucy Simon" signed benefit poster - $20
Equality pin - $1
"General Hospital" trivia book and keychain (for my mom) - $6
Chatterbox DVD with Andrea McArdle and Greg Jbara - $20
Playbills for "Once Upon a Mattress," "Frankie and Johnny" and "Cry-Baby" - $5
"110 in the Shade" magnet signed by Audra McDonald - $5

Just managed to break the $100 mark. BTW, every year I look for a "Wildcat" playbill on the off chance they have one and I have yet to find one! Overall, it was hot and VERY crowded but despite the celeb booth being upstairs and away from the action, I thought that part was exceedingly well organized. They seemed to keep the people moving in and out quickly and to try to handle everyone's requests. I know I was the only one who requested Julie Pinson (big "DOOL" fan) and they still got her for me. I ended up not getting pics with Diana DeGarmo and Will Swenson even though I initially wanted them just because I didn't want to be sequestered away from all the action and preferred to shop.

I must have gotten 150+ Playbills today. And also maybe 20 or 30 posters. And I spent about $80 (Including Lunch at an overpriced crappy dinner on the corner).

Some good finds:
Funny Girl (OBC)
Carbaret (OBC)

Which I got 2 for $20.

And towards the end the tables were giving out bags and saying for a dollar fill your bag with whatever.
