i love the show and also i love others on broadway. i thought this thread was suppose to be about kyle and not bashing a show again.

SPRING AWAKENING is far from beautiful and is closer to a mess but I saw your username and figured you would be a fan of SPRING AWAKENING.

It is theatre trash!

toodarnhot, i agree with you in a heartbeat. remember kyle will be the broadway melichor until mid july.
my favorite replacment from least to greatest:
5. emma as ilse 4. blake daniel-ernst 3. matt doyle-hanschen 2. alexandra-wendla(never seen her yet but will, so happy for her) 1. blake bashoff-moritz, did see john gallagher in videos didnt love him at all but i do love blake as moritz.

like i said i will review kyle when i see him. not one of thopse girls who are gaga over his voice.

I think Emma is a really great Ilse. Her voice is so gorgeous. Alexandra is also my absolute favorite Wendla, and I'm thrilled that everyone will get the chance to see her now.

Yeah, I agree that Blake B as Moritz is definitely the best replacement so far. He is really, really amazing.

I don't think Emma is all that great. She's good, but nothing special.

What I love about Blake is how much he's improved. The first time I saw him in December, I really disliked him, and now he's my favorite Moritz.

I am in love with Emma Hunton's voice. And her acting is top notch. I was really impressed by her performance.

I feel like Spring Awakening fangirls/BOYZ argue and fight, between eachother, a lot more than RENT HEADS.

Am I wrong here?

Not much significance but something I have noticed, recently. It's a bit obnoxious.

Steven22, no need to get "violent", but really TooDarnHot, with all due and respect, there was no arguing going on. Nothing here was "obnoxious". What's "obnoxious" is you always picking on people and things that many teenage boys and girls seem to love.

Perhaps my post was a little bit off-topic. It wasn't based on THIS thread.

It just surprises me that so many of the Spring Awakening fangirls get in these heated arguments/debates with other fangirls about the casting. You're all supporting the same show - why get so upset about the different actors?

Again, it was a random thought. It had no connection to any of your comments.

so happy if i get to see kyle next month on stage with alexandra.

my opinion loved lauren but emma was weak in some parts. anyways they are different in their own way. i miss lauren tons.

toodarnhot- that is a problem more with specific people in the fanbase than the fanbase itself. There are a few fans that are very opinionated towards certain actors and will say cruel things about them, which starts a lot of fights.

When I saw the show last June, Stephen Spinella was one of the only good parts for me. After loving his performance on the Tonys and in online videos and such, I found John Gallagher to be incredibly annoying. However, I did think that the Wendla understudy, Phoebe Strole, was great. As for everyone else in the cast . . . acting lessons might be a good investment.

If you think older people can't enjoy it - then it is very obvious the show DOES NOT WORK. Let's put modern day instruments, technology, styles, thoughts, language etc in a time long before our current generation. Let's say EVERYONE went through puberty. Let's touch EVERYONE. Only problem is - it only touches tweens.

And Spinella is currently the only one giving a worthy performance. That was what I meant - since Gallagher left...

His replacement, Glenn Flescher, is absolutely atrocious.

Well since Spinella left before Gallagher it would be kind of hard to tell that.
