A little off topic but sort of related. It seems from what I've read that Jonathan B. Wright has been out a lot this year as well. Does anyone know how often he's been out and if he's planning on leaving the show any time soon? Thanks.
"Yea... that's Joanne. She sees the show every day. "
Don't get me wrong, she seems like a REALLY sweet girl. It's just that it shocked me. I don't know where that kinda money can come from. Hahaha. When she was at the stage door [for her 326th time?] all the actors were like "Wow! You cut your hair!" Haha.
"tgn, I found this quote from you on another thread (before you saw it): "I wouldn't have seen the show if it weren't for the on-stage seats..I don't like the music too much but I don't wanna not see it at all." Heh! Let this be a lesson to you! :) "
I KNOW! Hahaha, I'm SO GLAD to have been proven wrong. I'm sort of glad I went in with low expectations, though. I was COMPLETELY blown away. It was crazy.
"Is Jonathan Groff is spitting all over the place? If youre sitting next to him...you need an umbrella..lol ! "
YES! My friend and I couldn't stop talking about how much he was spitting! It was hard to keep from laughing while on stage because every time he'd spray, my friend would nudge me. And I could totally picture the expression on her face.
I was at a Wednesday matinee of Next to Normal recently and Joanne was there. It wasn't one of the Wednesdays that Spring Awakening has a matinee (they're doing it like the last Wednesday of every month), so glad to see her at another show!
Yeah she told me that she's cutting down to four shows of SA a week so that she can see as much of NTN as possible before it closes. But once that's over, she's going to be back to seeing it six times a week.
hehe, sounds like my kinda girl :P SA and NtN FTW!
(no seriously though, as much as I'd LOVE for that to be my life, there's no way I'd EVER do it. Mostly because I would never have enough money to keep it up!! haha. Plus... I think that even I being the crazy obsessive person that I am, would get bored with the shows if I saw them THAT much.
I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay. Something next to normal is what I'd like to try. Close enough to normal to get by.
