How can B&B be bad musical? Musical for kids doesn't mean it is bad.
A musical isnt bad if you enjoy it.
"I never had theatre producers run after me. Some people want to make more Broadway shows out of movies. But Elliot and I aren't going to do Batman: The Musical." - Julie Taymor 1999
Yes it is. It's possible to enjoy bad things, just as its possibile to hate something brilliant. You've got to be kidding...
"If you are going to do something, do it well. And leave something witchy."
-Charlie Manson
Altough I personally dont consider it a bad musical, I loved the revival of Sweet Charity.

Poor production maybe, but not a bad musical at all

Yeah I wasnt sure about including Charity but because some of the critics really despised this production I thought I might as well.

Revival of Little Shop of Horrors
Revival of Sweet Charity
I didn't think that either of these were bad, but critics didn't seem to like them. I enjoyed them a lot, especially Sweet Charity.

I liked Dracula because it was so bad.
Wicked got mostly god-awful reviews, but I love the show.

Mamma Mia!
I even own the cast recording because the music was stuck in my head for months after seeing. At this point though I think I've gotten it out of my system.

Wicked
I know it isnt a "musical" in the sense that is being discussed, but I absolutely love John Waters' Crybaby

Ring of Fire. Everybody seems to hate this show, but it really blew me away. It is just a great escape, plain and simple.

Jekyll and Hyde. I really love some of the songs from the show, even though I'm not too fond of a lot of the lyrics. But they're so darn catchy!
Golden Boy was not successful when it first opened, but I find the score better than both Bye Bye Birdie and Applause, the two big hits by songwriters Lee Adams and Charles Strouse. I haven't read the book (there is a copy at my public library), so it may not be so great as I think.

'Bad' is subjective, but in terms of what there seems to be a universal agreement (at least everybody I know whether it be real life or on the net) that is bad:
CHESS - I love this show, I think it is grossly misunderstood and underrated (granted this really is the OLC for me, I admit the OBC had alot of flaws).
CARRIE - What can I say, flops are like crack to me.

I think by "bad", people are assuming this means shows that were critically panned and/or commercial flops.
Within these parameters, I must admit to love Mamma Mia! (which satisfies the former but not the latter). The cast recording is awful though.
