So how did a guy like you find a Broadway message board to talk politics?

It is really disturbing. I have 2 coworkers spewing the same crap a certain poster here was spewing in their threads. I know one is getting triggered at Trump losing too because they were posting creepy Trump & Jesus pictures on Facebook to pray for him. This person also seems to follow Breitbart to get their news.

What amazes me as well is when these people complain about things being "foul" and want things to be so conservative, but have no issues with anything Trump has done. They are also the ones who think it's cool to have photos on their Facebook page of their kids giving the middle finger.

It seems to me that's not the only toxicology you're trained in.

Oh man...and I thought my Trump-loving co-worker was bat-s**t crazy. His father is a major Trump cultist and is always yelling and screaming, from what he tells us.

So is my nephew. He has not invited me or my mom (great-grandmother) to see my new great-niece,his new baby. This hurts my heart. His father went to the Trump Super-spreader rally in our state before the baby was born. This pissed me off so much I couldn't see straight.

It's typically very difficult to get cult members to leave until the cult leader is removed. So maybe there is hope for them.

"Sorry, let me edit your post a bit for accuracy sake. Does mean they are totally blind to his faults (openly racist, failed to condemn white supremacy, child rapist, sexaul assaults at least 26 women, sociopath, mentally ill, throws temper tantrums, lies as soon as he opens his mouth, is responsible for over 200,000+ deaths, doesn't believe in science, raised ass*ole children, insulted everyone who lost a loved one during a pandemic saying "it's not a big deal!", seeks to divide not unify as LEADER of the country). There ya go. Your denial about all these things is despicable. But they, thanks for not voting for him! "

I see the "old" Sutton is back calling people's actions "despicable", how sad. Where did I deny any of the things you mentioned? Excuse me because I did not list all of your laundry items of things wrong with Trump. Next time maybe I should check in with you so I know what to post -lol

There are so many things you said are so lame and absurd. Are you a doctor and know that Trump is mentally ill and a sociopath? You really are going to call the Trump children names (btw - one of them is only a teenager) when you have Hunter Biden who has had issue with drugs and fathered child with another woman while dating his deceased brother's wife (that is kind of creepy to me). Meanwhile Ashley Biden has had issue with drugs also and got arrested for confronting police officers. Really, Trump throws temper tantrums. What do you call Speaker Pelosi ripping up the SOTU speech? Trump is responsible for all COVID deaths but Cuomo is blameless for having COVID positive patients go to nursing homes, ok -lol

As for not voting for Trump or Biden, I think it is kind of sad when this is the best we have running for POTUS. Yes, it is probably throwing vote away but sometimes it feels good to show disgust at what the two major parties have to offer !! Got to love the Democratic party who claims to be the party of diversity yet the two people who got the most votes from their voters were two very old white guys -lol. Meanwhile, in 2016 the Republican party Senators and Governors could not beat a brash vulgar businessman with no political experience - freaking wow !!

Have a nice evening.

President Biden is speaking, I will have a GREAT evening.

And, the old Sutton never went away, honey. You and I were cool until you started defending a child rapist again, suggesting he deserves to be RESPECTED. Your horrible defense of a mentally ill toddler with ALL garbage children is incredible. I am done talking to you or acknowledging you on here. We won. You wasted your vote in North Carolina. You should now understand that defending a REPUBLICAN on here is a waste of your time, and just plain stupid. Stop doing it, it's not welcome ever again. Oh, and you using "lol" after every paragraph on here makes you look extremely unintelligent. There is zero you've said that has ever been funny. ZERO.

BIDEN BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What did I miss that all of chicagodannyd posts are all blank? Did he close his account after the election results? Won't be missed but was curious.

Unclear. Perhaps the moderators took action? At one point, he had started over a fifth of the threads on the first page of the board. Regardless of his opinions (which, make no mistake, were terrible and insane) and the falsehoods, it was solidly spam territory.

Thanks Kad.

I thought there might have been a total breakdown that I missed. I don't think we have seen one of those in the forums for quite awhile now. :)

I was hoping after the election his posts would become less but this seems even better. :)

His base falls on every word he says, whether it's true or not. They defend every action his does as a positive. He never lies, isn't a racist, a sexist pig or homophobic. Trump could murder 100s on national television with his own hands and his base would still back him for his reasonings. That's a cult.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Yep. Apparently a different coworker of mine was spewing garbage on Facebook yesterday. I am not friends with her, but saw her defending him and fighting with a coworker I am friends with on there. Also heard she did it to someone else. This is a lady in her 50s I'm talking about, not a teen.

I agree about the death thing. This lady thinks the Covid deaths are not as big a deal as abortions. Also, she put no blame on him for any of it.

You guys. This thread is really interesting. Thanks for sharing your experiences with members of the cult of Trumpism. I'm fascinated by all of it... Watching Republican elites convince poor people that siding with them is anti-elite... up is down... bad is yankeefan...

I'd hardly call 70M a cult. When you consider that most of the people who voted for Trump, did so knowing he lies, he is not too bright, he is in love with himself, he is a bully, and he was not a clear voice against racism. They voted for him in spite of that. Why? Why did many of the same people who voted for Obama, vote for Trump?

They voted for him because they felt he was on the right side of many of the issues, especially those affecting the forgotten middle class and he kept faith with them by trying to address those issues. I feel he only lost because he was insistent about not wearing a mask which was simply common sense and, in so doing, betrayed the American people. If he had had the sense to ask people to wear a mask, as doctors advised, he would have won.

Hi Namo. Cult: A misplaced or excessive admiration for a particular person. Or a system of religious veneration directed toward a particular figure... That does not account for 70M votes. Most of the people who I know that voted for him, know he's a jerk and wouldn't walk around the block to meet him. Mostly, they are afraid of more taxes, more regulation, and more social programs run by government.

I'm not saying that he doesn't have a huge devoted following. And yes, they show up at his rallies. I'm saying that most of his votes came from people who have little admiration for Trump other than the fact that fear a progressive liberal agenda.

Are all 70m in cult territory?  No. Dented is correct - there are many that see his lies, see is racism, see his misogyny, see his greed  but bow down to the almighty dollar instead - an equally dangerous cult.

But those that ARE in the cult, are a dangerous breed as well.  THEY are the ones that will show up with guns and try to kill people.  The ones that believe every single word that monster utters.

As I have said before:  I will vote for humanity EVERY SINGLE TIME over an extra dollar in my pocket.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
