I think Ms. Bloom could be a pretty terrific Golda - maybe with a little camera magic. Golda is probably 42-43. Ms. Bloom is 33 at present. So, by the time this actually gets off the ground ...

I was a very last minute substitution for Motel (I had just finished a run as Mendel, the rabbi's son at another theater and someone thought I would be a good Motel when they lost the actor due to a car accident). I was game but I had a good, medium build in those days and even though a few lines were changed, my body was completely at odds with the role. Motel really has to be a short nebbish."
Ben Platt is 5'9", although I always thought he was shorter. I always thought Lennard Frey was tall and lanky, but I have not been able to find his height.
Now you know they’re going to stick Melissa McCarthy in this somewhere to sell tickets so cast her as Golde. Barbra will pass, so Rosie O’ Donnell as Yente.
I see it too. That is also very good. However I want to review it. I searched and found that the app showed it to me for a long time. Mobdro is a TV viewing application. movies and other entertainment for free on any smart device.
I'd love to see the tour Tevye Yehezkel Lazarov as a Tevye. He has that really authentic Israeli/Shtetl accent, and he was very good too. As a backup or an alternate, I'd love to see Danny Burnstein do it too.
I'd love to see Adam Kantor as Motel, and Barbra Streisand as a yenta or an older Golde.
Ben Platt as Perchik and maybe Isaac Cole Powell as a Fyedka (who should be cut from the show altogether, but that's a rant for another day.)
Idina Menzel or a solid belter as Fruma Sarah. I personally would like to see James Monroe Iglehart as Lazar Wolf, but it might be a waste of his talents.
Phillipa Soo would be a great Tzeitl, and Presly Ryan could be a possible Chava. Hodel could be played by Cynthia Erivo, but it could be a waste of talent. Also, throw on some wrinkles and a grey wig/beard, and David Josefsberg could play the rabbi.
