Since it is done so informally your really get a strong sense of the actor’s personalities and the format allows for a lot of spontaneity. I find the episodes very charming and Seth is quite funny. Thanks for cheering us up in these trying times. And I had no idea ZOOM existed until this week. A friend of mine has been having 5 O’Clock cocktail parties with his friends.

Bump....Pam Meyers was awesome who was an original cast member of Company singing Another Hundred People. A must see...Episode 13 towards the end.....something very special...I hope Mr. Sondheim got to watch it.....

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Episode 12 which had a Sondheim focus, was like skipping down memory lane for any baby boomer who wore out Sondheim cast recordings and recordings of his reviews. Loved it. All 4 guests were wonderful and touching....Seth if you are reading this....put together a Maltby and Shire day.......

Both shows today were incredible. Dorky and earnest and inspiring. I'm dealing okay with the self-quarantining but not being able to have in person therapy sessions are not great for my mental health. I just needed some joy and silliness today.
Also, I went to buy the album. So generous to donate all the proceeds.

This series really does make clear how difficult it is for people to stop putting their hands all over their faces. I cringe every time one of them does it, but I'm loving every minute of every show.
Seth is a national treasure and Dr LaPook's fandom is endearing. I'll definitely pay more attention to him when I see him on CBS.
Is their anything more touching than hearing Kelli O'Hara sing "Cockeyed Optimist" right now?

Jeremy was awesome! Seth should try to do a Little Shop of Horrors episode. I hope Mr. Groff and Jake G make an appearance at some point. I think the concept of the show could transfer to television....just a thought....I prefer it over NY1’s On Stage.

The segment with Sierra Boggess, Ramin Karimloo, Norm Lewis, and Andrew Lloyd Webber was fantastic! Some really great voices there, Andrew is getting more comfortable with social interaction (he's always been very socially awkward), and I loved how Seth kept teasing Ramin with thirsty pics.

The only thing that has become icky lately is Seth asking people to auction off their prized props/wardrobe pieces on the spot. It's been uncomfortable to watch.

Just watched this episode (I'm so far behind, but I'm determined to watch them in order). Lindsey was indeed fantastic. I guess I saw her in "Godspell" (don't remember) and I did like her a lot in "Carousel," but now I'm in love with her. The two shows she mentioned she wants to do -- "Flora" and "Mattress" -- seem perfect for her. Theater gods, please make these happen!

it seems to me like he probably ask them beforehand since they have most of the stuff on hand when he asks, but maybe his way of bringing it up makes it seem more impromptu. I did think it was more fun when people would surprise everyone with objects to auction without prompting though.
I don't know how ALW felt about the Ramin pictures but he seemed to be a good sport about it with asking for one haha.
I'm glad they seemed to have figured out how to mitigate the earlier sound issues, and I thought Jeremy Jordan's episode yesterday was a particular delight.

Even though I think it's more likely to raise money than the other items he suggested, I'm a little sad that Jeremy Jordan was talked into parting with his Newsies cap. And it does seem impromptu based on Annette Bening's reaction last night. She had nothing prepared so they clearly hadn't discussed it beforehand.

I thought Seth asked a Jeremy to auction the hat he was wearing which I thought was a common NY hat one buys in Times Square.
I cannot find any items on eBay.....what am I doing wrong...?

Most are not posted yet. Right now the only two up or the Into The Woods staff and Audra’s baby. Go to stars in the house.com for the link under auction on the menu. They said others will be posted as they could get to them. There are currently no bids for the baby with a starting bid of $500 and three bids for the into the wood stuff which is now for over $1300.

Honestly if they were smart they would let non celebrities donate items as well. Many of us have things that are autographed and such that we could donate. Just open it up to everyone. Why not? I think as we are all spending so much time at home we are cleaning and going through things...and with this pandemic we are reminded that we won’t be taking out “stuff” with us and what is most important are our family and friends we have made along the way....and that we are all in this together.....
