Interesting Mid-Show Mishaps

We saw Oklahoma on Thursday night December 5. Almost at the very end of act one Rebecca Naomi Jones went off stage and when the action resumed it was a new actress playing Laurey, Sasha Hutchings. They did not explain what had happened or why they made the switch. Both actresses did a great job but it was a little bit jarring. I hope everything was OK. Does that happen very often?

Tonight at Ain't Too Proud all of the Temptations' mics went out at the top of Act 2 ("I Can't Get Next to You", then the cast was told to leave the stage (they just kept going before that, even though the audience couldn't hear anything). The show was held for about 5 minutes. After that it restarted and everything went like normal for the rest of the performance.
