I got my loser email ~2:45, quite late for Lucky Seat. Maybe just because it was the first draw, hopefully it doesn't take all day going forward.

Really excited to read what people think after the first preview tonight!
So excited to hear reports from tonight!!! I caught the 5th preview in Boston, so Im really excited to hear about what changes have been made, if any. Also can't wait to see pics from inside later :))

Plus, it seems like they’re pulling out ALL the stops for the stage production. I was thinking of going in August but it’s just SO expensive. (Like seriously. The actual Moulin Rouge in Paris is cheaper...?)

My roommate abhors the movie, and she loved the show when we saw it in Boston. She's seeing it again with me in October in NYC. I agree that prices are ridiculous (glad I did table seating the second time I went in Boston, because that was pricey enough and NYC table prices are double that!), but I will say it truly is a heck of an experience on stage.
Ya, this was an incredibly entertaining evening at the theatre and spectacle that I feel I hadn't seen before really. Everyone should make an effort to see this one!
Going tonight and will be interesting to see since I didn't care for the movie AT ALL. Here's to second chances

Well, I think it may have to do with them offering some can-can seating to lottery winners, but then you can decide whether you want those or regular seats instead, so that would delay them announcing all the winners at once, since they have to offer them and fill them before they can announce the rest?
I saw it in Boston and mostly loved it, and I know people at the final dress last night who said there were changes, but didn't say yet where they there. I'm looking forward to seeing it - or really experiencing it - here, so I'll be trying that lottery here.

Heard from friends who saw the dress rehearsal last night. They said its a massive improvement from Boston and the smaller theater works in its favor.

My poor credit card. This and Hadestown in the same night. Argh.
I’m excited to go next week. Talked to a few people who were at the dress rehearsal last night and while I didn’t get many specifics, I got a lot of “It’s a damn good time!” and told that it’s “tighter.”
Here...Theatre looks insane!!!! all walls are covered in red velvet. Having a "Sparkling Diamond" special cocktail.
