Current ensemble member Zurin Villanueva announced that this is her last week in Mean Girls and she has another role coming! I wonder what she will be in and who is replacing her!

Kate is out a lot. One to Two performances a week. She was also just out last week, Jonalyn and Devon covered for her.

Tee Boyich will leave Mean Girls on March 10th. She has been involved with the production for over 5 years.

Ashley when she announced she was leaving on Instagram noted she would be out Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday this past week because she would be visiting family in Texas. 

Kate injured her foot awhile back and missed several performances due to that and she also just recently went on vacation as well. 

Most of the cast is pretty good at making it fairly clear on social media when they'll be out on vacation or a personal day.

That rumor was fake. Trust me, I was the one who received than info anonymously and then others took it and ran with it before I could confirm its legitimacy. Sucks that it couldn't be true though.

Chances of seeing all the Plastics or leads on in one night is slim. This cast calls out more often than a Hamilton company deep in the run. I heard they all have it in their contracts that they can call out whenever to pursue other projects.

Their contracts are so strict that they cannot say in advance when they will be out. They will refuse to tell you even a day before. Though most understudies in the cast give hints the day of on social media.

Long answer, sorry....I happen to intern with a  company that brings me to Mean Girls and they told me they don’t put up the understudy board until what-an hour before the show or something? Maybe it was half an hour, but you won’t know any earlier. 

They will never say when they’re out. They may give hints on social media and other cast members may hint that they’re going on vacation, but if you call the box office they won’t tell you who’s in and out that day. Do you think ticket sales would drop if someone knew who they wanted to see wasn’t there? Or people would be severely disappointed and tweet them or something like that saying how disappointed they were that they didn’t get to see them? Happens all the time. BUT they have incredible understudies. You could witness a star in the making. So don’t be disappointed :)

That said, I've been 3 times and the only time a principle was out was the first time in previews when Barrett had the flu and Tee went on.
