This video has a sneak peek of some of the choreography and staging, plus in the background you can kind of see a blurred rendering of the scenic design.

Wait, you're seeing it three times??? How did you manage that!?!?!?

You could get tickets for any 3 days in a row you wanted. Granted, it's been a week or so since I've looked, but none of the shows were sold out at that point.
I just hope he REALLY likes the show.

Like sparepart973, I'm putting a lot of faith in this creative team. I'll be attending tomorrow night (in the dress circle), opening night on 7/29 (in the balcony) and closing night on 8/19 (in the VIP seating). So I've got all vantage points covered. It would really suck if this show is horrible.

Damn, Karen!!!
Can't wait to hear the reports. I'm still not quite seeing Karen Olivio as Satine (even with that pic) she always seems so strong and indestructible, but maybe she will surprise. I do like the choreography clip a lot!
It looks like one of those Vogue-type photo shoots. I'm hoping it's that. Otherwise it just looks like Karen Olivio in a red dress. Not sure if the hair is right for the period??

Hahaha. Love it."
There isn't anywhere that says they are discounted. Why "blame" anyone? And wouldn't it be up to Today's Tix to disclose the info? Do they for any of the tix?
Um, I was just laughing at barcelona20's sarcastic humor. I did not say that nor did I place blame on anyone, nor did that poster. Chill?
Even if this winds up not being worth the $160 + fees I spent on a ticket, I will at least be able to visit the John Singer Sargents at Boston's Museum of Fine Arts while in town. And maybe John Adams' house too.

Scripps, there's a lot to see and do in Boston for free, and if you, like me, are a theater nerd and love seeing marquees, there are few theaters around that same area.

Opened TodayTix to enter the JLP lottery for this week, and noticed there will be a Moulin Rouge lottery. Looks like it'll be evening performances only.
Thanks for the suggestion, RippedMan. As a New Yorker (and big Yankees fan), I've put off exploring Boston properly the few times I've been in town. I look forward to my long weekend next month and catching Moulin Rouge's closing performance!
I'm going up next week, but thanks to them cancelling my 7/19 performance, I'm seeing the show a day early and then my original night I'm going to see Cirque du Soleil's Luzia, which is in Boston right now. (Thanks, Google!)
But if anyone has any ideas on what I can do during the day, pass 'em along. It's supposed to be gross weather-wise, so any indoor/AC suggestions appreciated!
