**Clarification: five PEOPLE got in on Wednesday for a total of 9 tickets and then 5 SRO seats.

Three standard tickets at 12:50 PM (about) and then 10 or so SRO right as the show was about to start. If anyone needs a line sitter PM me!

A huge thank you for this forum and everyone that posts to it! There is definitely sage and useful advice here, which I was able to put to good use this past Wednesday, 11/2/16. I arrived at 6am and was 4th in line. I got my ticket at 6pm. From what I've read here, that is definitely not the norm (about 1-1/2 or more hours earlier than usual?), but was very welcome. Being in line was a great experience. The best was when I could respond to what someone said with a line from the show and they would get it! #obsessed The show was even more than what I expected. So phenomenal!!

Hi all!!
This is well in advance but I'm in town between 26th Dec - 6th Jan from Melbourne Australia. I'm planning to set aside a day to queue up in the last week of December. Couple of queries: If I queue up for an evening show when there is a matinee before it, what time should I turn up? Would that be 2pm? Or do they only allow you to queue up once the matinee is over?
Also, I'm considering the New Years eve matinee performance at 2pm. Is that nuts? I have to make my way to Brooklyn after but I figured it would be early enough that the city isn't too manic yet. Tho I could be wrong!
Any advice is appreciated! :)

If anyone has any info on today's line, would you please let us know? I'm in the city today and would love to do the line later this afternoon but not sure if election day is going to mean a longer line or shorter one? Thanks in advance!

Anyone know how crazy the line usually is for the Wednesday matinee show? I'd like to give it a shot tomorrow but probably can't make it to the theater before 9:30am at least. Worth trying?

I'd go see. If there are more than 10-12 people in line by 9:30 I wouldn't bother as that's likely the max number of availables. But you never know.

So I just checked with a line sitting company and they are claiming that if I want 2 tickets, they would need to purchase 4 tickets because the theater isn't allowing swapping. I know that's technically a policy of the theater... are they enforcing that? Have people had success swapping out?

When I swapped before they didn't say anything, you could also join the linesitter and go inside the box office as his +1, they don't enforce it.

Hi guys, I know this is a long shot but I thought I would try anyway. I am a high school student and have done the line 6 times now. I went last sunday and I couldn't belive it was my last time seeing christopher jackson. I cant imagine seeing him sing one last time for the last time but unfortunatly do not have the funds to go again. Would anyone be willing to pay for my ticket if I wait for them. I am willing to get there EXTREMELY early. Besides the time I went when the OBC was leaving I have been first everytime. DM me if you want to try to work something out. I can pay for a portion of my ticket if need be. Thanks!!

Here now, got here at 5:45 am and 8 people in front of us. First five were one family who got here at 3:00 am. Now at 9:15 there are maybe 30+ Will keep you all posted :)

We went yesterday (Friday)...and got in. Here's the experience: the first arrivals were a mom & daughter from Connecticut. They got there 1130pm the night before! 3rd and 4th people got there around 2 or 230am. Each of the first four only needed one ticket. I was 5th, and arrived at 430am. I counted as two since I was getting a ticket for my wife. No one else joined the line until 930am...two young ladies. So they were technically #7 and #8. About an hour later a mom and daughter from London (but living in DC) got there as #9 and #10. So about 1030am is when the final people arrived who ended up getting tickets. Each of the first 9 got tickets, the 10th got SRO. The people first in line were seated front row center, right next to the $10 lottery winner (saw them at intermission). Not sure where #3 and #4 sat. Me and my wife (#5 and #6 sat directly next to #7 and #
had incredible seats, right center orchestra, 8th row from the stage. The four of us sat in row G, seats 101-104, off the aisle. It's possible a few others at #11 or later got SRO as well. I was actually very surprised that with this being Chris Jackson's final weekend, that there weren't more people in line before 930am. It was chilly and very breezy...maybe a factor? The show was outstanding, just disappointed that Anthony Ramos didn't perform.

Just to be clear, if I stood in line I would be able to buy my wife a ticket? She is pumping and standing in line would be a major hassle for her.

Yes, you would. Each person may purchase up to 2 tickets. The 2nd person does not need to be in line til just before showtime.

I planned on dedicating 20 hours in line when Chris announced his departure but life took over and my mom has been hospitalized for a week now. Reading Broadway World keeps me in good spirits while being with mom, waiting for news of her discharge.
