Why would SIX transition to eight shows a week throughout October and November (right after official opening), but revert back to six per week after Thanksgiving (excluding an eight-show New Year's week)? Perhaps even more dates will be added?

I am trying to purchase tickets for the Spring, but I see that ticket sales stop in March.  Does anyone know if Six plans to close in March, or have they just not released the April tickets yet?

Some shows like to release seats in batches to try to fill those instead of the same number of people spread out over more performances. Unless covid forces their hand, I m fairly confident more to will be released

I think more shows will continue to add shows during the week depending on how well they are selling. Six is wildly popular, so it makes sense.

So, say I snagged an orchestra seat in Row J on StubHub just 15 minutes before showtime… I can’t just walk into a theatre last-minute and show proof / identification, to avoid long lines?

Yeah you’ll be able to. This is a guideline they’re hoping a lot of people will follow and as long as a lot do, it’ll go smoothly.

That is in no way a rule since things do happen and people are late sometimes. They are just saying they would appreciate it and it helps them, is all.

Reducing line times and keeping people safe is "obnoxious"?

I really wanted to see this during my upcoming trip.  Unfortunately for me, the tickets were mobile only.  I know I should get with the times, but I think there should be options.  I didn't mind paying extra for an emailed or will call ticket for shows I went to in August in Las Vegas. So why not have that option?

I totally agree with you that people should have that option. But, this is just optimal for Covid times. May I ask why you don't want a smart phone?

I don't think it's just covid times.  Many places were going mobile before covid.  I'm lucky I guess that Telecharge still emails the ticket.  When I bought my Caroline Or Change ticket, didn't know Roundabout's ticket was mobile until after I paid for it.  Will deal with that when I get there.  As far as your question, just don't feel the need for one.  For your laugh for today, I still have a landline.

Just FYI, i stopped at the box office the other day and asked for my tix to be printed out (just to see what would happen) and they did it with no problem.

Art, when I bought my Caroline or Change ticket the only option was to pick it up from the box office as a physical ticket. I think it had to do with me being a member of Generation Roundabout so they had to check my ID, but if you just email them, I'm sure they can just email you the ticket you can print out.

The wait is over, Queendom: after having its original opening night scrapped the day Broadway shut down, SIX resumes previews at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre tomorrow night, prior to an October 3rd official opening. This British pop-infused, concert-style musical is written by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, with direction by Moss and Jamie Armitage, and choreography by Carrie-Anne Ingrouille. The ensemble piece features Adrianna Hicks, Andrea Macasaet, Abby Mueller, Brittney Mack, Samantha Pauly, and Anna Uzele.

“Divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, survived. From Tudor queens to pop princesses, the six wives of Henry VIII take the mic to remix five hundred years of historical heartbreak into an exuberant celebration of 21st century girl power! This new original musical is the global sensation that everyone is losing their head over. The New York Times says SIX is ‘pure entertainment!’ and The Evening Standard hails SIX as ‘the most uplifting new British musical I have ever had the privilege to watch.’”

Who’s up for a histo-remix?!

I'll be there tomorrow and I can't wait! Saw the show on a whim (aka a first date lmao) in Chicago with 0 expectations and really loved it.

I wonder if anyone here went to the invited dress rehearsal last night?

If anyone has an extra ticket that they generously want to consider gifting to an unemployed New Yorker, anytime in the future, please let me know SIX - Preview Thread

You can send me a PM if you don’t want to respond to this post.

And if anyone has a (non-premium priced) ticket to sell for tomorrow night, I’m willing to pay face value

Saw a single ticket that was premium this morning get reduced to standard admission, so I took the plunge and will be on the first bus in the morning. SOOOOO excited because I haven’t done a “theatre adventure” like this since High School

It seems right that my return will be the way my obsession started 10-15 years ago (find a cheap ticket and immediately plan a last second day trip around it)

Premium tickets are insane ($500) and the rear mezz prices are also pretty crazy ($109). Bummed I won’t get to see it again any time soon. Guess I’ll chance the lotto whenever I can.
