Hi there I have some seating questions. It's my 2nd time seeing Wicked and I really want to see Kerry Ellis when she's here when I visit NYC this summer. I have different seats I'm wondering about. Can someone tell me specifically what I would miss if anything from any of these partial view seats:

BB5, BB6 , CC1, CC9

I understand BB6 being by Stage Right is quite different from BB5 on Stage Left, because BB5 has the staircase right in front of it or beside it.

Also what are the views like from the Mezannine & Rear Mezzanine? Is the Mezzanine fine to see & hear well, is the Rear quite far back do you feel disconnected from the show at all back there? Your advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.

From what I remember with the partial view seats you dont miss much just some scenery pieces and the large staircase if ur sitting stage right. When I saw Wicked in April I had font mezz seats and I thought they were great! I think the rear mezz might be alittle too far back, but I did love the front mezz because you got to see everything!

BB 5 is my favorite seat. I almost always sit there. You could always get the seat and then do the lottery while you're there.
Mezz is good also since you can see the whole stage. But take your binocs with if you're up there. It's kinda far away.

Don't believe everything that you hear! Only the peeps involved know the truth!

I sat in CC5 (maybe?? Or maybe 9?) and it was fine. The only thing I missed was Morrible's scene with Glinda on the top of the stairs and a few of the set pieces happening upstage right. For the price the seat was pretty good. Can't help you with mezz, though... I've been in the orchestra both times I saw it at the Gershwin, although I think the front mezz overhangs the orchestra towards the back of the house.
