I saw it on Thursday night and, Daveed was the only principal to come out. Renee wasn't on then but her understudy came out and was very nice to people. Daveed took pics and signed autographs for like an hour so also very nice of him.

Honestly, as someone who has done the lottery once, this makes perfect sense given how crazy the lottery is. To the people upset about no more Ham4Ham shows, Lin said he and the cast would be making some videos inside to make up.

So, the orchestrations sound freakin' incredible, and I was wondering if anyone had any insight of the orchestrations for Hamilton. Like how many instruments, and how do they make those rap-ish sounding beats in the theatre? I might be missing something here, but I'm just curious on what goes on down there to make it sound that incredible. No other show sounds (orchestrations wise) quite like Hamilton. God Bless LMM and God Bless Alex Lacaimore tbh...

Fun fact, this show actually got me into musical theater. I have it to thank for even being on these boards today!

Right now, I think Satisfied is not only one of best songs in the show, but one of best songs I've heard overall.

You guys are right there is something really special about "The Room Where It Happens". Phenominal song but I can't quite place why it's so special.

Nonstop is also an unbelievable song.

Hell, people like Andrea Martin won for roles that were <10m on stage (Pippin), so Groff is definitely a contender.

That being said, I think Alex Lacaimore has Best Orchestrations Tony in the bag. This whole album sounds freakin' incredible.

"I love the show and I love the recording, except that sometimes the drumming seem overdone to me, specifically in My Shot and Satisfied, overdone to the point that it distracts me. Plus, it sounds like a drum machine, not an actual drum. Could that be? Does anyone else feel this way?"
