Hugh Jackman during his run in The Boy From Oz, to the point where there were people waiting before the show as well as after for him to come in. Never got a good photo with him (first time wound up being a video and the second time, his eyes were closed lol.) I can only imagine if there wasn't a pandemic going on, how big the line/crowd would be for the Music Man.

Not necessarily, there is the possibilty of early reviews. Michael Philips and Richard Roeper do early reviews alot on Ebert and Roeper and plus there have been early reviews for Dark Knight and that doesn't come out until next week as well. Maybe the majority of reviews won't come out until next week, but there's always the chance of early reviews. I don't think Ebert submits his reviews

Why is this is on the Broadway board? I mean, yes there are Broadway Theatres in and around Times Square, but I hardly see why something about a giant replica of Eddie Murphy's head in Time Square should be on the Broadway board and not the Off-Topic board?
With that out of the way, were the people that came up with the idea for the movie and this promotion high? This film looks horrendous even though it's got some good reviews, but it looks like flat out crap. It looks like it would be

David Hyde Pierce was the voice of Abe Sapien in the first Hellboy and he's not back for this one either.
I was watching Entertainment Tonight today and there having a Mamma Mia special or something like that and they showed a couple of clips(being Entertainment Tonight they still talk over there clips) fea

I don't know which theatre it was, but in Jersey Girl, Ben Affleck's character takes his daughter to see Sweeney in NY. I remember though there was a shot of one of the original billboards for Producers in it though.
I love when films are shot in NY and they shoot in Times Square cause you get an idea of what year the movie was film in some cases. Like in The Pink Panther, there's a shot of Steve Martin standing in Times Square and right behind him is a billboard for Little Shop of Horr

I'm currently in school working on a degree in Fine Arts-Theatre. I would like to be an actor, I know it might not happen, but I would just like to try. If it doesn't happen, then my fallback is to be a film/theatre critic for a newspaper. Oddly enough, alot of people I know think highly of my opinions on film and some have even said that I should be a critic. I just will try my best not to be a Jay Sherman

Just to ask because me and my sister were talking about it, do you think there will be any midnight showings of Mamma Mia? Me and my sister are going to a midnight of Dark Knight and we were talking about how it would be funny if like there were midnight showings of Mamma Mia and seeing a small fraction of the people at the theater at that time going to see Mamma Mia and basically everyone else going in for TDK.

I've seen the show seven times, twice with Michael as Frankie and five times with JLY as Frankie and all I have to say is that JLY was the better actor and Michael is the better singer/dancer, but I enjoyed both performances. I haven't been back to see the show since last March due to the suspending of the student rush thanks to those damn scalpers.

I'm wondering if they didn't think of doing what they did on Sweeney where they film to the music and actually sang it on set, so that it didn't look awkward and confusing.

They should've done something else than what they did. They probably just should've done Summer Nights, but I will agree that it was better than hearing Taylor Hicks singing Beauty School Dropout.
I only want to see Grease for Laura Osnes. I think she's got a great voice and is probably a good actress, but I have no interest in seeing Crumm or Hicks. When I look at Max, I don't think Danny Zuko, I think more like Doody or even Eugene.

Even though when I was younger I went and saw The Lion King and also would go and see Sesame Street live at the State Theatre in New Brunswick, NJ, I was never really interested in theatre or even considered making that my major or what I wanted to do with my life. I had many ideas of possible future jobs after college like psychiatrist, funeral director(It was when I was really into Six Feet Under), exterminator, parapsychologist, and other things, but never acting.

I'm going to say that South Pacific won scenic design because it had an actual set that exists in reality and not just a projected set. I haven't seen South Pacific yet, but the photos of the set look amazing. Before South Pacific opened, I had hoped that Young Frankenstein would win for Scenic Design, but South Pacific's set is more impressive that Young Frankenstein's, but Young Frankenstein's set design especially the lab are just wow too.

The three girls in Little Shop are refered to as The Urchins, not the Ronettes. Ronette is one of the three girls.
The photos that I saw of the plant reminded me a bit of the revival's plant. I actually thought that they might be, could it be possible that they are or just based on that design?
I love this show and I'd like to see it at Paper Mill, the only show I saw at Paper Mill was a snooze fest. It was their production of Romance, Romance and the one great thing about it w

What's next, David Archuletta as Danny?
I've never been a fan of Taylor Hicks. I don't like him one bit. I watched that bootleg on You Tube of him singing Beauty School Dropout, and I thought he was horribly off key the entire time and I really hate the fact that they gave him a harmonica. If they are going to cast an American Idol winner, can they at least cast one that can actually sing and on key.

I thought I'd share this with all of you. This is a clip from the production of Best Little Whorehouse in Texas that I was in at my college. It's basically the Aggie scene from start to the end of the number(it ends before the Aggie reprise and then the Aggies at the Chicken Ranch but there's video of that too).
If you want to see more, on the user's account there three other videos, one is of 20 Fans which I have a small part at the end(I come out in a yellow shirt and am on the right hand side of the screen), Watchdog/Texas Has A Whorehouse In It(you'll see me at the end in the same yellow shirt), and then the end of Act I starting with the Aggie reprise all the way through to The Raid(I show up as a photographer at the Chicken Ranch, I'm the one in the middle).

I like to see a remake of Little Shop of Horrors that's more true to the stage version and has more music in it and actually has Mushnik sing and has the unhappy ending. I can actually see Tim Burton directing it. I actually see Zach Braff as Seymour, Kristen Bell as Audrey, Sacha Baron Cohen as Mushnik, Johnny Depp as Orin, and I can't think of anyone for the voice of Audrey II or the urchins.
I'd like to see The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas remade as well, that again is more true t
